Kapan Village Development Committee (VDC) is situated about 20 Kilometer north from the Lord Pashupati Nath's temple of Kathmandu Nepal. The secretary of VDC and local an organisation named Adharsheela Yuba Samooh (AYU) jointly requested to the President of Lions Club of Kathmandu Capital to organize an eye camp for the less financially fortunes to their cataract operation of their locality on 2060 /2/12. (May 26, 03)
Club President Padma Raj Kaphle requested to the authorities of Tribhuvan University Institute of Medicine Maharajgung for the technical assist screening and cataracts surgery. In this connection club president Lion Padma Raj Kaphle visited to the that village with second vice president elect Ankushang Sherpa and Secretay elect Mr. Dusyanta Bhattarai to guide the members of local youths on June 2. 03 .
